Drugo izdanje Krk3atlona uspješno je za nama! Vrijeme nas je poslužilo (osim vjetra koji očito mora puhati), nastupilo je 100-tinjak natjecatelja u obje utrke, a pobjede su odnijeli najspremniji. Prema komentarima natjecatelja, biciklistička dionica očekivano je bila najveći izazov, ali ne možete reći da vas nismo upozorili :)

Sigurno Vas najviše zanimaju rezultati:

Na webu su se pojavili i prvi dojmovi natjecatelja, slobodno šaljite svoje!

Only a couple of days are left until Krk3atlon race 2009! So far we have 113 triathleetes preregistered, 47 for olympic distance, 30 for double olympic distance and 12 relay teams. A few important reminders:

• at the moment, sea temperature is 19C, so neoprene will probably be allowed
• weather forecast for the weekend is good, see details here
• be aware of strict rules of NO DRAFTING and right hand side on the bike segment
• money prizes will be handed out only for the olympic distance Krk3atlon race, but for both races there will be a plenty of sponsor awards (Puma, Nike, Powerbar)
• 30 volounteers are ready to make Your Krk experience as good as it gets

On 20th September 2009 Triathlon club SWIBIR is organizing an olympic distance triathlon race (1,5km swim - 40k bike - 10k run) for the second year in a row. In addition to that, in the same time there will be a double olympic distance triathlon (3k swim - 80k bike - 20k run) which will be a Croatian national championship race.

This year we have again prepared many awards for the competitors as well as prize money for the best triathletes in olympic distance race.

Race course has been changed in the bicycle segment, featuring more climbs and descents to make it a bit more challenging for you! :) Running segment stays the same, completely flat and along the beautiful Punat seaside and marina. Swimming segment will be held in a shallow Punat bay, hopefully without strong winds as last year.

We are expecting even more participants than in 2008. so don't hesitate and apply now! See You in Krk!
